Dr. Dmytro Gnativ is a flutist and educator based in South Florida. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Miami's Frost School of Music and serves on the Executive Board of the Miami Music Teachers Association. At Musicall, Inc., he teaches and coordinates the after-school music program, and he maintains a private flute studio welcoming students of all ages and levels.

As a performer, Dr. Gnativ is Principal Flute of the Florida Chamber Orchestra and appears regularly with the Palm Beach Symphony, Palm Beach Opera, Opera Naples, The Symphonia, and other ensembles. He also gives solo recitals across the country.

Much of his work centers on repertoire that deserves wider circulation, particularly music by Ukrainian composers. Through solo and lecture recitals nationwide, he brings this material to flutists and audiences who have rarely encountered it. His recent publication, An Anthology of Flute Music by Ukrainian Composers, 1850–2022, documents more than 400 works, most of them unknown to performers outside Ukraine.
