Dr. Dmytro Gnativ, a Ukrainian-born flutist, is making waves in the classical music scene. Dedicated to diversifying the flute repertoire and promoting lesser-known classical works, particularly those by Ukrainian composers, he delivers solo and lecture-recitals across the country. His recent publication, An Anthology of Flute Music by Ukrainian Composers, 1850–2022, uncovers over 400 previously undiscovered works. 

Besides performing solo recitals across the country, Dmytro is an active performer in South Florida, serving as Principal Flute of the Florida Chamber Orchestra and appearing regularly with the Palm Beach Symphony, Palm Beach Opera, Opera Naples, The Symphonia, and other ensembles.

As Artistic Director of the Ukrainian Classical Music Project, he leads initiatives to promote Ukrainian music within the multicultural landscape of the United States. He also manages a thriving flute studio, teaches at Musicall, Inc., where he coordinates its after-school music program, and serves on the Executive Board of the Miami Music Teachers Association.
